About Us
The R. L. Hess Company was established in 1978 by Richard and Susan Hess. In 2007, the company was purchased by their daughter Paige and her brother in law Mark Diegel.
Attention to detail and a true understanding of the priorities of each customer is what we bring to the table. Whether it is a vendor managed inventory system or a fill in item, we provide the same level of service. We personally answer the phone on the first or second ring and through our network of suppliers we source quality products at fair prices.
Customer service isn’t a tag line for us. It is the cornerstone of how we operate. We don’t offer “me too” pricing. We look at your current processes and analyze them to create efficiencies saving time and money.
At The R.L. Hess Company we specialize in keeping our customers happy. We are large enough to service anyone (we provided bags and boxes for 160 Oshkosh B Gosh locations for 8 years) yet small enough to adapt everything we do to meet our customer’s needs. We specialize in service and knowledge. We represent a vast array of suppliers, both domestic and international, and can custom fit a program to meet all of your packaging needs.
